Easter Treats

I have decided to make Easter treats for my 2 daughters class rooms this year. I was dying to use the new Petal Cone die and I finally did. Have you seen the cute carrots made with the this die out there in the blogoshere? So... So... So cute!

The treat holders are not complicated because I have to make 50... yikes... what did I get myself into. It will all be worth it in the end when I see those little faces light up.

I am also having a Easter Treat Workshop with some of my stamping friends to make these yummy treats...might as well have some company, right? I still have a few spots available if you live in the Simi Valley, Ca area... send me an e-mail.

Stamps: Four Frames, A Good Egg and Afterthoughts
Ink: Early Espresso and Pumpkin Pie
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White and Wild Wasabi
Punches: Large Oval Punch, Modern Label and Decorative Label
Die Cut: Petal Cone

I hope you enjoyed my little treats. Wish me luck on getting all 50 done in time.

Flower Folds Change Purse

I happened to enter a Brighton store on day, not one of those store I usually visit, but this time something caught my eye... a leather change purse. It had a beautiful 3D flower on the front if it...I was instantly inspired to go home, pull out my flower folds die cut and give it a try. It took some trial and error but I was happy with the results. I bought the black leather change purse though e-bay and found the leather at a local leather store. I'm looking forward in making more and in different colors.

Did you notice the impressions in the leather? I ran it though the big shot multiple times using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.

This made great Secret Sister and Christmas gifts.

Thanks for stopping by today... have a fabulous day!

Tea Box

For Saint Patricks Day last year, I made this little box that held green tea. It was for my secret sister, she is a tea drinker. I really wish I took a picture of the box opened. It held 12 tea bags, 6 on each side of a center divider inside. I just had purchased the Flower Folds die cut and I had to use it.... I love... love... love it! It makes such beautiful flowers not just with paper, but with fabric too.

Thank you for stopping by today... have a fabulous day!
