Cup Full of Yummy

Boy... do the holidays keep ya busy. I have been very busy creating but no time for blogging :(

Today I want to show you a little gift that I gave to my one and only down line member, Val. It is a little coffee cup with a gift card and chocolates inside. Cute idea I thought. You can find the template for the cup here.

We also had our annual "Crazy Stamping Ladies" Christmas party and secret sister reveal. I can't wait to show you all the projects I made though out the year, so watch out for that.

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you all enjoying the holiday season.

Fabric Hair Accessories

I have 2 little girls and they love wearing hair do-da's. I don't know why it has taken me so long to figure out that I can make my own with Stampin Up's fabulous fabric and ribbon. Here are a few accessories that I made. Very fun, easy and great for Christmas gifts.

These flower barrettes are made using satin ribbon. You can find directions how to make these here.

These are cute little pony tail holders using little scrapes of ripped fabric and ribbon. All you have to do is bunch them up and tie them around a pony tail rubber band.

These are barrettes made with the circle die cut.

Lastly is a flower head band made with the Fancy Flower Fold die cut. My little LoLo is wearing it.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a FABULOUS day!

Christmas Workshop Fun

Last night was my monthly workshop. We are focusing on Christmas. I told my group that last night was going to be my last workshop and I was not going to have anymore monthly get togethers. I think everyone in the room simultaneously said "NNNNOOOOO... YOU CAN'T!!!!". I calmed them all down by letting them know that I was only playing a little joke on them... it was a good laugh.

Here are the fun projects.

Journal for Lily

My cousins 15 year old daughter Lily, who we just call her my niece because we all all so close, was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma. The family as really pulled together to give her all the support she needs to get her though the tough months ahead. In keeping with the philosophy of my late mother-in-law that it is very important to write everything down while undergoing treatments, I thought it appropriate to make her a special journal that she can do just that. I thought it turned out pretty cute and wanted to share it with you all.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a FABULOUS day!

Halloween Boxy Bags

Thank you for stopping by today. I have been busy working hard on my secret stamping sister gift this week. Since I can't show it to you at this time, I can show you what I did last year. I found a cute little template called "boxy bags" and decorated them as a few of my favorite Halloween characters. I found inspiration for the faces of the characters in various places around the blogosphere. I have a cello bag filled with M&M's in each one.

Sorry some of the pictures are a little blurry.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a great day.

Spooky

Shame on me for it being so long in between posts. You see the "Crazy Stamping Ladies" annual "Stamp Til You Cramp" event keeps a person quit busy. It is over now... Whew. Look for our blog hop to see what we did.... its coming soon.

I LOVE Halloween and I am so bummed that I haven't had a lot of time to create as much as I would have liked so far. I do have a few things to show, like this card that I did for the "Crazy Stamping Ladies" downline meeting. It is one of those cards that I totally went over board on... have you ever done that? What do you do with those cards? Why not put them into a frame, then you can enjoy them year after year.

Here is a close up of all the goodies.

Here is the card in the 8x8 frame.

Thanks for stopping by today. Hopefully it won't be too long in between posts.

Wednesdays Card Reveal

Well Friday has come and gone and my card reveal was not posted... what can I say, sometimes family life is just too darn busy...not to mention I was sick and I pasted it along to my husband. Aren't sick husbands funny, they lay around and every once in a while they let out a sympathetic sigh and become big over sized babies. I swear there should be a sick husbands hospital that you can check their sorry butts into and they don't come out until they are 100% better. LOL

Anyways enough of that, lets get back to the cards. This first one I got the idea from a fellow CSL's secret sister gift, you can view it here, I just thought it was so pretty. Enjoy!

Teacher's Love for Pistachios

It was my daughter's teachers birthday a few weeks ago and she loves pistachios. I wanted to make her something cute and bright that she could sit on her desk to hold her favorite snack. Play Date DSP was perfect to use for this project... don't you think?

I shot a few different angles.

Check out the little pencil... cute touch... I thought.

All gifts must have a coordinating gift bag.

Thanks for stoping by today. We are enjoying a family camping trip to the beach this weekend, should be lots of fun. Happy Stamping everyone!

Room Mate Gifts

I promised that I would post the FABULOUS room mate gifts that I received from my fellow
Stampin! Up convention travelers. I has been longer then I would have like to get them posted, but here they all are. What a creative bunch of ladies I hang out with.

The first gift was from our "Crazy Stamping Lady" leader Maureen. She gave all these comfy cozy socks. I think I own about 7 pairs of these type of socks and there is nothing like getting a new pair... they are like heaven on your feet. You can view Maureen's blog here.

Bobbie gave us all these really cute folder pockets made with Gala DSP that held a pack of gum. Was she trying to tell us something.... HUMMM! The gum is gone so I guess that tells ya something... LOL :)

This is a beautiful pin that Heidi gave us made out of fabric and leather using the Big Shot butterfly die cut. She personalized each one by putting our initials on a mini vintage tag and attached it with a vintage brad. It looks like she also frayed the fabric to give it a shabby chic look. You can view Heidi's Blog here.

Sandy made us all this little easel topped matchbox with chocolate candy inside. YUMMY! She used a Bitty Button to hold the easel part up. You can view Sandy's blog here.

Shawn put a lot of work into these booklets she made for the group. Inside are envelope to store pictures and notes to remember a special trip.

Most of the convention travels love coffee. Theresa made us coffee cozies. She used Sweet Pea stitched felt and brown felt. She was so proud of her self that she learned how to do a blanket stitch. Way to go Theresa... you can view her blog here.

Last but not least is Toni's gift to the group. More chocolate packaged so cutely YUM!

Thank you ladies for all the wonderful gifts and for the inspiration you give me daily!

Thanks for coming by today. Have a FABULOUS day!
