Don't you find it inspiring journaling a something that has a been touched with a little extra something? Not just a plain old composition book. Here are two examples of embellished composition books that I have done in the past.
This compositions book I created using "Tote-ally Tess" stamp set which was paper pieced and Alphabet Simple Letters and Numbers die cuts. I used a lot of retired product on this, but could be recreated in anything. I use this to take notes at monthly downline meetings, sketch out card layouts for my monthly card, card, card workshop that I host in my home and anything else that I find inspirational.
Every year The Crazy Stamping Ladies, but on a Stamp till you cramp event. We have raffle baskets. For this event we had a basket to acknowledge breast cancer awareness month. I donated this to the basket of goodies. I used the "Friends 24/7" stamp set and Decorative Accent #2 die. Lots of glitter and embossing went into the creations of this one.
The reason why I thought about creating a journal was because of my mother-in-law wrote down everything while going though treatment for Non-hodgkin's Lymphoma, she thought is was very important and had something she could refer to if necessary. Unfortunately she died from the disease, but lived 7 years after being diagnosed and lived to see 2 grand children be born. She lived a wonderful life and I miss her dearly.
I love your thoughts.
